SPC cleaning
1st treatment after installation:
After installation, you can enjoy your new SPC floor very cuickly. Clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner with soft brush. Clean the floor with a Swiffer of mop and mild cleaning product.
Regular Cleaning (Daily or Weekly)
Sweep or Vacuum
Remove dust, dirt, and debris with a soft broom or vacuum cleaner with soft brush
Damp Mopping
Mix warm water with a mild, neutral-pH floor cleaner (avoid harsh detergents, vinegar, bleach, ammonia, or abrasive products).
Dampen a microfiber mop in this solution (it should be only slightly damp, not wet).
Mop gently in the direction of the flooring planks and leave the floor to dry.
Stains:
Stains from coffee, milk, wine, fruit juice can be removed with a damp cloth.
Stains from asphalt, show polish, paint, ink, nail varnish can be removed with a damp cloth with a few drops of pure acetone.
If you can not clean the dirt, after you allowed it to dry, using your finger nail or plastic scraper, a synthetic thinner may be the solution. Never use excessive amount of the product.
Additional Tips:
NEVER use aggressive cleaning products and Avoid wax or oil-based cleaning products, as these can leave a residue.
Do not use steam cleaners, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the SPC flooring.
Place mats at entrances to reduce dirth brought in from outside.
Use beige color felt pads on furniture legs to protect the floor from scratches (do not use colored floor protectors.
This regular care routine will keep your SPC floors looking clean and new for years!
